Royal Mail postbox NE8 200D stands on High Level Road at the Riverside Park entrance, a couple of minutes down from the estate. It is emptied early: the last collection is at 9am Monday to Friday and 7am on Saturday, so anything posted after that goes the next collection day.
For a later post, the plate points to the box at the South Street Service Centre, collected at 4pm or later, and to the Tyneside Mail Centre on Earlsway, Team Valley, where the latest collection in the area is at 7.30pm.
